Woodland Centre, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis

The building was designed and constructed prior to this commission. Dallman Johnstone were approached to complete the project with interior design and bi-lingual exhibition. This included the design for a cafeteria with 40 covers, kitchen, storage, office, utility areas, a retail area, base for the Ranger service with an interpretation and exhibition area. The commission included: researching and writing material for the exhibition; sourcing all the fixtures and fittings as well as project management through to completion. The exhibition was mainly on the incredible history and nature and flora of Lews Castle Grounds. Games and activities were designed to suit from very young children to adults.
